FACE STAMPS

DT Patti here to bring you today's post.  It's usually the first thing people say to me whether we are painting ceramics or doing paper piecings.  "I just can't do the eyes".  Well, like everything else we do, the more we do it - the better we get.  Still we all want perfection the very first time.

Nikki has solved that problem for us!  While we are learning and getting better....Nikki has come out with some AMAZING stamps to do our eyes and faces for us!  I have been having so much fun with my sets.  I ordered and received the 2" stamp sets....and have just re-ordered and am waiting for the 1 1/2" sets.   I LOVE THESE STAMPS.

Our DT Member, Mandy, who does the most amazing job with faces and eyes...(I'd love to sit at her side and learn from her) did some faces using these new stamps:

I wanted to show you a piecing I did with the 2" set.  It was too large for the size piecing I made, but I LOVED the way it looked for this bear.  He definitely looks like a koala bear or someone who is scared out of his mind!

If I'm in a hurry to get something done - or a card made at the last minute...I love knowing these stamps are available.  Also, when I need something to be 'perfect'.

Meanwhile - a note from DT Mandy....Don't use colorbox chalk ink on your clear acrylic stamps....it doesn't seem to wash off....sorry Mandy :(
